About Me
- Name: Feu_follet
- Location: Aix en Provence, Provence, France
I'm coming back to France after more than 7 years being expat. A kind of foreign look on my own country. I love indie rock, brit pop, foreign films, live concerts and contemporary art. I am contemplative, thoughtful . I laugh loud. I lived in several countries. I prefer cats to dogs, bikes to cars, humans to money, women to men.

I found you via the "Next Blog>" button, and decided to write you a note, because I, too, love indie rock, brit pop, foreign films, live concerts and contemporary art, and I, too, prefer cats to dogs.
Nice to meet you...(so to speak). :-)
I really liked this movie! I remember seeing another wonderful Japanese cartoon-movie in 2002, before coming to the USA: it was the story of a girl whose family was transformed into animals because of their griddiness. Beautiful. I just cannot remember the title :(
This nice movie was actually "Spirited Away" (or "Le voyage de Shihiro" in French, "Sen no Shihiro Kamikakushi" in its original version). I find it full of poetry and dream-like impressions. Even sometimes a bit too difficult to understand because of the Japanese Myths that you need to know to appreciate everything. I actually prefered Princess Mononoke, from the same director I think. In the last issue of Wired, they predict an invasion of the box office by Anime: three major productions should be released in the next months. Hollywood should be transformed by Japan as Detroit has been transformed in the automotive industry !
Thanks for reminding me :) I have not seen Princess Mononoke, though...
